We are planning to hold regular networking meetings at the Old Vic (Upper Coffee Bar) on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 14th January 2010 - 12:30-2:30pm.

Plans for regular classes are developing but we do need the input from associate artists and other dancers willing to teach class in Bristol for professional dancers. Kompany Malakhi are committing to teaching one per week. Space is still required if anyone has any ideas or offers. Consensus was for classes to take place centrally and between 9 and 11am on weekdays.

We would welcome further comments to move this forward.

Well done for keeping things moving.  I can’t contribute much to the programme of classes right now due to childcare and other work commitments, but do keep me posted.  With a few other artists, I’ve recently set up a weekly session for dancers, performers, musicians etc. with young children - not kids’ classes but a research/ practice space for us to get together and share what we do, with kids present, either involved or doing their own thing. Do spread the word to anyone you know who might be interested.  More info at bristolfamilyjam.blogspot.com Will try to get to other classes when I can, in the meantime, best of luck with it all and will keep in touch,

I really appreciate what you blog about here, very refreshing and smart. One thing though, I’m running Firefox on Linux and some of your site structure are a little wonky. I realize it’s not a popular setup, but it is still something to to keep in mind. Just shooting you a heads up.
