About this website: Theatre Bristol thought it would be a really good idea if we created a regular space where people interested in theatre in Bristol can come together to discuss what they're up to, we can say what we're up to, and we can all discuss what we’re not up to but think we ought to be.
On Tuesday 30th November 2009 more than a hundred people came together at Bristol Old Vic to do just that. This website hosts the notes from that meeting and allows the conversations started that day to continue online.
In recent years the quality of outdoor arts and performance has grown rapidly nationally due to funding, ambition and a use of festivals, but I’m not seeing this reflected in this rich theatre community in Bristol. Why?
