About this website: Theatre Bristol thought it would be a really good idea if we created a regular space where people interested in theatre in Bristol can come together to discuss what they're up to, we can say what we're up to, and we can all discuss what we’re not up to but think we ought to be. This website hosts the notes from all Theatre Bristol's TYTM meetings and enables the conversations started in those meetings to continue online.

i’m not sure if this is of any help to your conversation but i’m developing an absurd language piece and looking for places to perform and opportunities to grow it up
in The Language Lab Project i take well known texts; pop songs, nursery rhymes, fairy stories etc and translate them into various languages online. when i translate them back into english the sense of the words becomes muddled and confused. i do this repeatedly and then edit together all the best wrongest bits and re-present them in performance. it’s a lot of fun. i also use visuals in performance, images from searching Google with my favourite bits of the new texts
i’ve had some shows at Ferment at BOV, a residency at knowle west media centre and a commission for the Desperate Men theatre company
i’m not sure what to do next with the project.
it’s be great to get another residency somewhere and some more shows
blah di blah
